Creating your account

Sign up as a patient or a doctor, verify your email with a 6-digit code, and sign in. Clinic staff are invited by their employer instead — see Inviting your team.

There are two ways to get an account: registering yourself, or being invited.

Registering yourself

Anyone can register directly as a patient or as a doctor. Clinic staff — receptionists, nurses, accountants — do not register this way; an employer invites them instead, which is covered in Inviting your team.

  1. Open the registration page and choose patient or doctor.
  2. Fill in your name, email and a password, and submit.
  3. Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code.
  4. Enter the code on the verification page.
  5. You are signed in immediately and taken to your dashboard.

Your account already exists but was never verified

That is not a dead end. Registering again with the same email sends a fresh code rather than refusing you — you do not need to remember an old password or contact support.

The verification code

The code is 6 digits and expires after 15 minutes. If it expires, or you mistype it, you can request a new one — but not more than once every 60 seconds, and after 5 wrong guesses you are locked out until you request a fresh code. Both limits exist for the same reason: the code protects your account, and a system that lets a code be guessed unlimited times is not protecting anything.

Didn't get the email?

Check your spam folder first. If it still hasn't arrived after a minute, use the resend link — you will get the same response whether or not an account exists for that address, which is deliberate: it stops a stranger from using the signup form to find out which email addresses have accounts on a medical platform.

After you verify

Verifying your email signs you in — you land on your dashboard directly, not back on the login page. A patient's dashboard is where you book your first appointment; a doctor's is where you set up your clinic, covered next in Your first day: setting up your clinic.
